I have been thinking about (semi)-organizing an impromptu get together for the readers of this blog. While it might be a bit much of a stretch for those in Mexico, Belgium, Australia, Great Britain. etc... to attend, those of you in the Pacific North West might be interested in coming.
I am envisioning a weekend campout that would allow us to get to know each other and to discuss prepping topics that are near and dear to our hearts. Hey, maybe we can even get some T-shirts that read like:
Something Wicked Comes
2008 Rendezvous.
Everyone would be invited, but it would probably only be practical for those living near Washington State. Everyone would be welcome, no matter where you are from.
Anyway, tell me what you think. If I get enough interest, I will see what can be generated. I know a real nice spot!

With Regard to the location, Perhaps there is a reader in say North or south Dakota or maybe colorado that might be more central. I am in wisconsin and would love to attend but washington state is a bit far.

ReplyDeleteI think it could be a good idea as it may get the ball rolling to grow a survival/prepper network across each state.
You never know, it may allow you to connect with a group of like minded families, resulting in a mutual support network.
