A Novel Use For Old Pallets

Here is a cool use for those old pallets that are usually free for the taking.

Our pioneer ancestors spent a large portion of there days in the struggle to produce enough food to survive on. They didn't have access to the knowledge and ideas that are shared now on the internet. As a survivalist or a prepper, once your food stocks run out you will be faced with the same issues, unless you start utilizing these methods now!

Addendum:
Do you have a novel use for old pallets?
Would you consider sharing with the rest of us?
Thanks!

  1. Pallets make excellent building material, there are lots of folks making sheds out of them. Some are basic woodsheds made to just keep most of the weather off of your firewood. Others have taken some of the pallets apart, using the 2X4's for support and the boards to overlap the gaps in the pallets.

  4. I work for a pallet factory. I get so many that I mostly just use them for firewood. 4 pallets nailed together... two flat on the ground and one standing on each end make a firewood rack that holds about 2/3 of a cord.

Some pallets from overseas are made with exotic woods. Makes pretty looking knife hadles.
