Sneak Peek

Ok, so I didn't get everything done I wanted. The lawn mower was stubborn and so was I. My articles didn't get finished so here is a sneak peek at the portable genny my Dad built some years back, about 12 years I think.
More details soon.

  3. So what is the power output? What is the gas consumption....I wanna build one too, but I am too wimpy to just go out and do it (congratulations) I gotta know more first before I go and actually accomplish something useful like you have.

    Good job, keep it up

  5. It has an AMC Motorola 55 amp alternator with external regulator. My dad always built things with what he could scrounge up free or low cost.

It's power output was controlled by a rheostat above and to the left of the ammeter guage.
